Prince William and Kate Middleton are already in Scotland.

The members of the royal family always take the time to join Queen Elizabeth II in Scotland at this time of the year. It was reported earlier that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would also be visiting the monarch in Balmoral this summer, and photos of Middleton and the Queen just confirmed this.

On Sunday, Queen Elizabeth II and Middleton were photographed sitting beside each other on the way to church. For the outing, the mother of three opted to wear a gray Catherine Walker coat-dress with covered buttons, black piping and shoulder detailing. Middleton paired her getup with a sleek updo and dark hat. On the other hand, the Queen stepped out in a blue dress with a matching hat.

Also in attendance during the outing were Prince William, Princess Anne, Sir Timothy Laurence, Autumn Phillips, Prince Charles, Prince Edwards, Sophie Wessex and Lady Louise Windsor.

Prince William and Middleton's children are also in Scotland, but they were not spotted with the senior royals on Sunday. According to People, the Cambridges usually travel to Balmoral in early September. However, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are expected to return to school so that's probably the reason, the family made their trip a little earlier.

In related news, Prince George will reportedly have more assignments when he returns to school. Based on their school curriculum, he will be given a 10-minute reading every night. In addition, the school will send him a spelling rule or pattern weekly.

Prince George's year-long curriculum includes English, science history, geography and religious studies. He also has special subjects like French, computing, art/design, technology, music, ballet, P.E. and drama.

The third-in-line to the throne will have to partake in a one 40-minute drama lesson each week. He will also have to perform at a festival later this year.

For this subject, Meghan Markle can probably help Prince George. The Duchess of Sussex graduated from Northwestern with a double major in theater and in international studies.

Prince William and Middleton will escort Prince George on his first day of School at Thomas's Battersea in London.
