Kate Middleton found one of Prince George’s baby photo “lovely.”

In 2014, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge embarked on a royal tour where they visited Australia and New Zealand. They brought Prince George along with them even though he was only 1 year old at the time and he stole the show from his royal parents.

There were a lot of photos featuring the royal family but Middleton found one particular picture that she considered her favorite. The snap was taken by New Zealand photographer Steven Woolf and it showed Middleton carrying Prince George with the latter resting his head and his arm on his mother’s shoulder as if he hugs her back.

“She said it was just lovely and that it was her favourite photo of the tour,” Woolf said.

The Kiwi photographer revealed that he delivered a black-and-white version of the photo to Middleton after the royal tour.

In related news, Middleton has hired her old college friend Virginia Chadwyck Healey to be her new stylist since Natasha Archer, her current stylist, is on maternity leave. According to royal expert Victoria Arbiter, the duchess needs one because she’s not interested in being a clothes horse, she has a busy schedule and has to dress for her role.

The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to be at the forefront as Queen Elizabeth II steps back a little bit more. Just recently, the two royals made their joint outing seven years after they made their first engagement together. Her Majesty reportedly did it to give Prince William’s wife “public show of support.”

Although Middleton needs to dress up whenever she shows up in royal engagements, fashion and lifestyle blogger Juliet Angus said that the future queen would never follow her sister-in-law Meghan Markle’s “wasteful” style. The Duchess of Sussex has been slammed for overspending on her outfits.

When Prince Harry and Markle visited Ireland, the former “Suits” star changed outfits several times in one day and dressed up in Dior, Givenchy and Emilia Wickstead, which Angus said was “one expensive bill to pay.”

Unlike Markle, Middleton has been praised for not spending too much on her wardrobe. The Duchess of Cambridge is popular for recycling her outfits, earning her the title “Thrifty Kate.”
