The royals also tease each other when they have the chance.

Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry have funny one-liners to tease their spouse or another family member. Check all of them out below.

Queen Elizabeth II

In 2018 the royal family had a busy year. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex got married in May after six months, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank also tied the knot. However, a month before the first royal wedding that year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also welcomed their third baby, Prince Louis. Zara and Michael Tindall also welcomed their second daughter in the same year. Just months after tying the knot, Prince Harry and Markle also announced that they are expecting their first baby.

According to the Queen, having two weddings and two babies and another one coming “keep a grandmother well occupied.”

Prince Charles

The Prince of Wales once made a joke about his family. “I learned the way a monkey learns — by watching its parents!” he said.

In 2014, the future king was left bemused when he was told he looked “buff” in his shirtless photograph taken in the 1970s. Prince Charles stopped and asked Prince William what the word meant and said, “I know my eldest will now demonstrate his buff credentials” making the Duke of Cambridge blush in the process.

Prince William

In 2012, the second-in-line to the throne shared how he got in trouble with his royal grandmother during his younger years. According to Middleton’s husband, he learned one thing, “Don't mess with your grandmother.”

Back in December, Prince William joked about his wife’s outfit when they attended an engagement in Cyprus. According to the royal dad of three, Middleton’s outfit has “camouflaged against the tree.”

Prince Harry

Prince Harry has his own playful takedowns with Queen Elizabeth II. On her birthday, the soon-to-be dad joked at how difficult it was to find a present for the monarch.

“Tonight we are celebrating The Queen’s birthday but Your Majesty, if you do not mind me saying, you are not someone who is easy to buy gifts for,” Prince Harry said.

Kate Middleton

During Middleton and Prince William’s engagement interview, she was asked if it was true that she kept a poster of the royal prince on her wall. The Duke of Cambridge joked that Middleton had about 10 or 20.

Middleton denied the rumors and got the last laugh saying, “He wishes.” According to the duchess, she didn’t have any photo of Prince William, but she had a poster of a Levi’s guy on her wall.
