‘Kate Plus 8’ Season 4 Premiere Date Released; Watch Kate Go On A Date In First Promo Video

Love is in the air for Kate Gosselin! According to the synopsis for the upcoming installment of “Kate Plus 8,” which is set to premiere in December, the matriarch of the Gosselin family will spend Season 4 of the hit TLC reality show looking for love. But will she find it?

“Since being divorced, I can’t even really say I’m in the world of dating because I don’t get it,” Kate, who divorced Jon Gosselin in 2009, says in the trailer. But despite her uncertainty, Kate will try her hand at exploring the mysterious world of dating.

“He peeked my interest,” Kate says of a handsome suitor who took her out to eat followed by a romantic helicopter ride over Central Park.

But diving into the dating scene won’t be the only challenge Kate will face in Season 4 of “Kate Plus 8.” The summary for the new installment, set to air Tuesday, Dec. 8, teases that in addition to Kate bravely going on blind dates, she’ll also face the challenges of installing a new deck, going back-to-school shopping with the kids and bonding with her family during the clan’s Florida vacation.

“This season highlights a trip down to Florida where the family adventure includes a first time jaunt to a water park,” the summary reveals, adding that Kate will worry that her high-school bound daughters might not be so interested in her “big summer plans.” In fact, Kate will grow even more concerned when she finds out that her eldest children are spending their beach vacation hanging around with teenage boys.

“No, this is not OK with me!” she responds to learning about her daughter’s newest friends.

Although Kate and her children may not see eye-to-eye as the family endures “growing pains,” the synopsis states that the Gosselin clan will “continue to support each other every step of the way.”

“Kate Plus 8” Season 4 will premiere Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
