Katie Holmes is, undeniably, one of the most loved actresses of her generation. The former “Dawson’s Creek” star, allegedly, dated Jamie Foxx after a decade of marriage with Tom Cruise. No other details about Katie and Jamie’s split have been made public as of yet, pushing fans to create theories and speculations about the possible reasons behind it.

Rumors have it that Katie and Jamie broke up because the “Django Unchained” star cannot commit to the mom of one. Though Jamie is in love with Katie, he, reportedly, does not want them to be exclusive at all. The actor, allegedly, does not see himself getting married again after his failed relationship with Kristin Grannis.

"He's ducked this issue for years, but finally figured it was the right thing to put Katie out of her misery and tell her where she stands,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “The fact is, Jamie's never going to be a one-woman guy and as much as he digs her, Katie's not marriage material in his eyes," it went on.

There were, also, reports saying that Jamie Foxx’s hectic schedule made him think that he could not be a good partner to Katie Holmes. "He's been so busy with movies and all of his other businesses that he knows he can't be a good boyfriend to her, [but] he brings a lot of joy into her life and he's happy with Katie," a tipster told Us Weekly. "He would never want to hurt her...” it added.

It remains unclear why Katie and Jamie decided to part ways since neither of them has commented about it up to this writing. Despite this, the “Batman Begins” actress revealed, in November, that she is in a good place right now. "I enjoy life, and I love adventure," Katie told Shape Magazine, after describing herself as an optimist. "That's the thing I like best about myself. I like to meet people and experience lots of things. I'm always up for new challenges,” she went on.

Meanwhile, Katie revealed how she spent Thanksgiving 2019 in a series of snaps on Instagram. On Nov. 29, the “Jack and Jill” star shared black-and-white photos of herself alongside her sister and brother-in-law. “Happy thanksgiving! We finished the turkey run!: my sister and brother-in-law ❤ ️ so grateful for my family! #turkeychase,” Katie wrote in the caption.

In a clip she posted a few hours after their "turkey run," Katie Holmes thanked the Rippey Family Vineyards for the “delicious” wine. The “First Daughter” star donned a knitted sweater with pom pom and chevron detailing in the video. Though Katie did not reveal the exact place where she spent the holiday, Marie Claire claimed that she likely celebrated it with her daughter, Suri Cruise, and some close family members.
