Katy Perry’s vocal prowess is once again being questioned by her bashers and critics after her Grammy Awards performance mic feed leaked online recently. Meanwhile, the “Dark Horse” singer’s boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, just shared a crazy yet humorous video clip on Instagram.

Over the weekend, Perry’s untampered singing of her new single, “Chained to the Rhythm,” at the recently concluded Grammys 2017 leaked online. The video that made its way to YouTube showed the performance of the singer-songwriter. But compared to the one viewers watched during the show’s broadcast however, this one is rife with inconsistent and shaky raw vocals. At some parts of the song, Perry noticeably struggles to reach the notes.

Many people who stumbled upon the clip left negative comments toward Perry. One wrote: “To be honest, I prefer the auto-tuned one. This just hurts my ears too much.” Another commented: “Katy Perry might have all these no. 1 hits to her name, but she cannot sing live at all! Every bit of that hurt my ears…” Even Perry’s own fans agreed with the criticism aimed at her raw vocals. A fan stated: “I love Katy, but she’s a horrible live singer.”

Despite the negativity, Perry is unfazed. In fact, she took to Instagram to tease the upcoming music video for “Chained to the Rhythm,” which is slated for release this Tuesday. In a series of posts, the “Roar” hitmaker teased her millions of followers about what’s to come this week.

Meanwhile, Perry’s beau is still not by her side to show his support for the singer’s new music scene endeavor. Bloom is currently in Niger doing some charity work for UNICEF. The 40-year-old actor has been a goodwill ambassador for the nonprofit organization since 2009.

Interestingly, Bloom’s latest Instagram post is not one that showcases his charitable work there. Instead, it’s just the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star being his quirky self. In the clip, Bloom attempts to wear his body armor while still holding on to the video camera. The result is a laugh-inducing post rife with Bloom’s comical facial expressions.
