While some people are counting down the minutes until Super Bowl 54, animal lovers are gearing for their big game of 2020, Kitten Bowl VII. Viewers can look forward to seeing some of the most adorable cat-letes compete in the ultimate football showdown.

On Sunday, the Hallmark Channel, through their partnership with North Shore Animal League America, will introduce viewers to a new group of kittens that are eager to take home the Feline Football League trophy.

Those interested in tuning into the furry competition on Sunday afternoon can watch the game on TV or live stream the sports event online.

To live stream the event, animal lovers can visit the Hallmark Channel website and use their cable provider information to log in and watch the game.

TV personality and animal advocate Beth Stern will return as the host for this year’s Kitten Bowl. Four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Boomer Esiason will also return as the Commissioner of the Football Feline League.

Stern will be joined by Hallmark Channel commentators Brennan Elliott and Jill Wagner, who will be on hand to deliver all of the play-by-play action. Meanwhile, former NFL running back Rashad Jennings will be the field correspondent.

The four teams playing in this year’s Kitten Bowl will be the Courageous Cougars, the Last Hope Lions, the Little Longtails, and the North Shore Bengals.

Since the Kitten Bowl premiered in 2014 on the Hallmark Channel, there have been more than 40,000 shelter pet adoptions. The network will provide cash grants to the top participating shelters as a part of its pet initiative, Adoption Ever After.

Kitten Bowl VII airs Sunday at 2 p.m. EST/PST on the Hallmark Channel.
