Konami has announced a new bundle called “Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience” which will be released on Oct. 11. The bundle includes “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” and “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.”

“Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” is a prequel to “The Phantom Pain.” It’s also pretty much a demo which can be completed in 10 minutes. “Ground Zeroes” was released in 2014 and was sold for around $40.

“Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” was released more than a year after “Ground Zeroes.” It received mostly positive reviews from critics and fans alike. The game also included “Metal Gear Online,” the first ever massive online multiplayer experience in the franchise.

The game is also known for being the last entry into the main “Metal Gear Solid” franchise that was directed by Hideo Kojima, who has now since left Konami and is currently working on “Death Stranding” under his own game studio.

Aside from the full “The Phantom Pain” campaign and the demo-length “Ground Zeroes”, “The Definitive Experience” includes previously released DLCs for both titles. Additionally, the bundle is also packaged with expansions for “Metal Gear Online” including the Basic, Battle, Dance and Hero Appeal Packs, weapons and the Cloaked In Silence expansion.

The great thing about the inclusion of all of the DLCs is that it’s all found in the disc which means users won’t have to download them, as pointed out by Geek.com. Konami has listed the full contents of “The Definitive Experience” on its website.

“Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience” is set to be released on Oct. 11 and will sell for $49.99. It will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Konami says that the content of the PC version of the game may be different from its console counterparts and that it will confirm the DLC contents “at a later date,” according to IGN.
