  • Bell's new product line was born out of her affinity for hemp-derived personal products such as Lord Jones' High CBD Formula Body lotion

Kristen Bell has teamed with celeb-loved CBD brand Lord Jones to launch a new cannabis-derived personal skincare line slated to debut this fall.

Bell’s fans and onlookers have long acknowledged her as an A-list actress playing a variety of notable Hollywood roles. But as of late, the 39-year-old actress-singer has set her sights on a more entrepreneurial stretch in addition to her already star-spangled record.

Following the recent launch of “Hello Bello,” Bell and husband Dax Shepherd’s affordable line of plant-based baby products, comes the actress’ hemp-infused personal care line soon to have its place in the retail market.

“Happy Dance,” is Bell’s official CBD skincare brand in partnership with Lord Jones, one of the industry’s leading marque for CBD products and best known for its menacingly tasty gummies. According to the “Good Place” actress, her recent entrepreneurial affiliation’s soon-to-be collection was organically born from her love of the CBD brand.

“I first discovered Lord Jones CBD products two years ago and have been using them ever since,” Bell shared. Though she admitted how she initially felt skeptical, the actress said she was “quickly blown away” by the product’s quality, consistency and integrity.

Calling Lord Jones’ High CBD Formula Body Lotion ($60), a “huge game changer,” Bell is not the only one to have expressed admiration for the products. Other famed celebrities such Mandy Moore and Michelle Williams, also swear by CBD, revealing that they often apply the products to their feet before red carpet events as it as a proven pain remedy.

And during an official press statement early Wednesday (May 20), the actress-turned-entrepreneur dished out on details for her upcoming cannabis-infused skin care line, emphasizing her promising approach towards personal self-care.

“Self-care shouldn’t be an event,” Bell revealed in a statement. “Self-care should consist of everyday pick-me-ups that can be integrated into one’s daily routine.”

The 39-year-old star also said that upon meeting Lord Jones founders Rob Rosenheck and Cindy Capobianco, they immediately shared a common desire to make a CBD line that would be “accessible to a wider audience,” besides her goal to curate high-quality and affordable CBD products.

On top of that, the Lord Jones founders definitely sees Bell as an ideal business partner, praising the actress for her stellar mix of enthusiasm and advocacy. Lord Jones’ CEO Rosenheck shared that they couldn’t think of a “better partner” than Bell.

"Kristen has a singular voice and has always been outspoken about what she loves and believes,” Rosenheck said. “Her passion, authenticity and kindness will be at the core of Happy Dance and make her the perfect messenger to bring CBD self-care to the mainstream."

Bell’s “Happy Dance” will officially set afloat later this year, as per the recent press release. Although more is to come on the product details and launch date, the “clean, simple, hemp-derived CBD skincare” is definitely something to look forward to.
