Kristin Cavallari is so done dating athletes. The reality star wants to put relationships with sportsmen behind her after realizing the issues in her former flames from the same industry and following her divorce from Jay Cutler.

In the latest episode of her "Back to the Beach" podcast with co-host Stephen Colletti, the 36-year-old TV personality admitted that she's throwing the towel when it comes to dating athletes.

"I dated a couple of athletes in my day, I will say," the "True Comfort" author said before opening up about the issue she's had with the schedules of her athlete exes.

"Here's my deal. I dated a hockey player. For me, now in my life where I'm at, it's more about schedules. So baseball, they're gone all the time. Basketball, they're gone all the time. Football's reasonable. Hockey, they're gone a lot, but it's doable," Cavallari explained.

She did not drop the names of her exes. But it's no secret that she dated former University of Southern California quarterback Matt Leinart, according to Page Six. She also had a serious relationship with former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler that led to their marriage. However, they broke up in 2020 amid allegations that he had an affair and eventually divorced.

Colletti joked that Leinart was Cavallari's "first quarterback." But the latter did not disagree with it and even lauded her ex for being "the nicest human being on the planet."

"He's such a great guy. But yeah, I dated him when I was 18, my second half of my senior year. He was a five-year senior at USC. He was on top of the world that year," she added.

After dishing about her dating experiences with her athlete exes, Cavallari told her co-host that she's no longer looking to start a romance with another sportsman.

"To be honest, I don't want to say anything I'm going to end up regretting, but I don't think I want to date another athlete. I've done that. I want to leave that in the past," she said.

Earlier this month, the "Very Cavallari" star reflected on her relationship with Cutler, particularly the time when they had a brief breakup in 2011.

"Basically, I called off the engagement [for] the same reason I got a divorce, and so I guess if there's any takeaway from that is you can't ignore red flags. People don't change, and you've got to trust your gut," she revealed on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast.

Cavallari has been romantically linked to a string of men through the years. Aside from athletes, she also went out with actors, reality stars and musicians, among others.

She's dated or has been linked to her high school sweetheart and podcast co-host Colleti, her "Laguna Beach" co-star Talan Torriero, "The Hills" co-star Brody Jenner, singer Nick Lachey, actors Nick Zano and Chris Evans, comedian Jeff Dye and MTV cameraman Miguel Medina, according to Us Weekly.
