Kyle Rittenhouse has pledged to sue many prominent figures for defamation for what he considers to be “lies” that have been spread against him about being a murderer.

The 19-year-old, who has become highly recognized for being acquitted of all his charges involved with the Kenosha protest, wants to hold anyone who spoke falsely about him accountable through his new project.

“Me and my team have decided to launch The Media Accountability Project as a tool to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they said and deal with them in court,” Rittenhouse said Monday on Fox News.

Rittenhouse explained in the Fox News interview that he and his legal team are “looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes, Whoopi Goldberg's on the list.” He also specifically mentioned President Joe Biden, Cenk Urger from “The Young Turks,” and ABC News.

According to a report from TMZ on Wednesday, Rittenhouse has added Lebron James to his list due to a tweet that he posted on Nov. 10. which accused Rittenhouse of “fake crying” during his trial.

James tweeted, “What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”

When it comes to “The View” co-host, Rittenhouse is referring to when she called him a murder after he was already found not guilty. “She called me a ‘murderer’ after I was acquitted by a jury of my peers. She went on to still say that,” Rittenhouse said.

Rittenhouse plans on suing Urger, for calling him a “murderer before verdict and continues to call me a murderer” and Biden for calling him a “white supremacist.”

Overall, Rittenhouse described his intent with The Media Accountability Project and suing people as a commitment to help stop the media and anyone from spreading more misinformation.

“We're going to hold everybody who lied about me accountable, such as everybody who lied called me a White supremacist. They're all going to be held accountable. And we're going to handle them in a courtroom,” Rittenhouse said on Fox News.

“I don’t want to see anybody else have to deal with what I went through,” he added.
