Lady Gaga and ex-fiancé Christian Carino have no hard feelings for each other. The two exes reportedly ran into each other during a pre-Oscars party just a few days after their breakup made headlines.

On Friday, Gaga, 32, and Carino, 50, were spotted talking to each other at CAA's pre-Academy Awards bash. A source told Us Weekly their encounter was "brief," implying that the two may have only exchanged pleasantries.

“Christian Carino walked into the party … said hi to Gaga at one point,” the insider said. “But it was brief and then he went to another room.”

Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, was also seen chatting with "A Star Is Born" co-star Bradley Cooper at the party, with the source claiming that the two talked "in a corner together all night."

“They looked so close, they almost seem like a couple,” the insider continued.

Even before reports surfaced of Gaga and Carino's breakup, fans had already been speculating that the Oscar-nominated actress and Cooper may be secretly in love with each other, despite the fact that the actor is dating supermodel Irina Shayk, who was not present at the recent pre-Oscars bash. The couple shares one daughter, Lea, 23 months.

Rumors that Gaga and Carino had called off their engagement and wedding first surfaced after she was spotted without her engagement ring and her fiancé at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Feb. 10. At the time, fans had begun suspecting that the two may have parted ways as Carino had accompanied Gaga all throughout the awards circuit but was noticeably absent during one of the biggest music events.

Days before Gaga and Carino's breakup was confirmed by Just Jared on Feb. 19, the singer-actress headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a vacation with her friends. They reportedly stayed in an oceanfront villa in a gated community and enjoyed a lot of time in the pool. Gaga and her pals apparently also had an outing on a yacht during their getaway.

However, a source told People that she seemed "a bit gloomy and low-energy" despite what appeared to be the "most perfect vacation." The insider explained that Gaga looked much happier and seemed to have much more energy during previous vacations, but this time, it seemed like she "was going through something."

Despite her breakup, Gaga still has something to smile about. She is nominated in two categories at the 2019 Oscars: best actress for her role in "A Star Is Born" and best original song for "Shallow." The movie is also up for six other trophies: best picture, best actor (Cooper), best supporting actor (Sam Elliott), best cinematography, best adapted screenplay and best sound mixing.
