With Christmas steadily approaching, holiday shoppers were running out time to buy last minute gifts. Luckily for them, some retailers will be open with extended hours until Sunday, so folks needing to pick up a few extra presents will still have some time to take care of all their holiday needs before the holiday arrives. Read on for holiday hours at major retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Target and more.

Walmart: The superstore has faced a ton of backlash over the year for extending holiday shopping hours that started as early as 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, forcing some workers to miss out on their own holiday celebration. This year, however, Walmart will try to spread a little yuletide cheer by not only remaining closed on Christmas day but also cutting store hours on Christmas Eve. In past years the store closed at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve. This holiday season Walmart will close at 6 p.m. on Saturday and won’t reopen until Monday.

Best Buy: The electronics store extended shopping hours as of Thanksgiving and will remain open until 11 p.m. Friday. However, the store will only be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will remain closed on Sunday.

Target: The store was open for business on Thanksgiving Day, but shoppers shouldn’t expect the same holiday hours for Christmas. Target closes at midnight on Friday and was scheduled to stay open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The store was expected to be closed on Christmas day, but will reopen Monday at 7 a.m.

Toys ‘R Us: Although it may be hard to snag some of the hottest toys of the season now – Hatchimals and other popular toys sold out not long after stores opened up on Black Friday – the toy retailer will remain open from 6 a.m. Friday until 9 p.m. Christmas Eve. Toys ‘R Us will be closed all day on Christmas.
