There are many ways to address the problems that you have with people who are close to you. Unfortunately for the “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” Season 4 cast, they are not the best at dealing with confrontation. In episode 5, “Spirit Animal,” Teairra and Masika attempted to address their separate issues but things didn’t go according to plan.

On the Monday night episode of the VH1 series, Nia and Moniece confront Cisco about taking Teairra to a detox clinic for hangovers. The women previously told him that they wanted to take her to rehab and he went against their wishes.

During their conversation, Moniece breaks into tears, revealing that she is going through her own personal struggle in her family because of an addict like Teairra. Cisco goes on to remind them that he has only been in Los Angeles for three weeks and he has already got Teairra into detox and they haven’t done anything even though they have known her for years. The ladies abruptly end their conversation with Cisco, failing to create a stable plan for Teairra.

Later on, Teairra hits the studio with Cisco and lays down a track. Once she is done recording, he tells her that her friends ambushed him and told him that she drinks too much.

Teairra becomes upset at the thought of her friends exposing her business and asks Cisco what he did to defend her. The two then get into an argument and she leaves, but Cisco follows her out of the studio to continue their conversation.

Cisco then tells Teairra that her friends are not her friends and she needs to watch herself to which she replies she doesn’t have any friends. After her big fight with Cisco, Teairra visits Moniece at her new house to meet up with her and Nia.

Moniece explains that she and Nia just want to help Teairra and reveals that she told Cisco if Teairra wanted to get help for her problem, she would be right there to support her. However, Moniece confesses that she doesn’t believe that Cisco shares the same sentiment and doesn’t care enough to help Teairra.

Teairra remains in denial and insists that she doesn’t have a drinking problem and storms out of Moniece ’s home. Moniece tells Nia that she isn’t interested in having another conversation with Teairra unless it’s an intervention. She also suggests that Teairra and Cisco’s relationship won’t last very long and that he’s “a goner.”

Cisco soon reaches a point in which he believes his and Teairra’s relationship is falling apart and visits his friend Amber. Amber confesses that she loves Cisco and he reveals that he came to L.A. to have fun and that Teairra’s drama is not sitting well with his plan. He and Amber then share a kiss and from the looks of her lingerie, it is highly unlikely that the evening ended in a handshake.

Elsewhere, Masika sits down with Keyshia and Nia where she reveals that she needs to vent about Zell, who ruined her launch party and got into a fight with Misster Ray. Masika explains that although she is upset with Zell, she is even more mad with Ray. Masika explained that she expected Zell to get a bit wild but thought that Ray would keep things professional.

Masika reveals that she does plan to meet up with Zell and attempt to smooth things over after their eventful night at her launch in which he caused a scene and threw drinks.

Still reeling from the incident, Ray sits down with A.D. and Moniece where Moniece reveals that Zell and Masika will be going to get their nails down, something Ray and Masika usually do together. Ray reveals that he plans on showing up to the nail appointment to fix things with both of them.

At their nail appointment, Zell apologizes to Masika and while Masika still reveals that she is still upset, before she can get into further detail, Ray arrives at the nail salon, surprised that Masika chose to take Zell to the same salon they always go to.

Ray then compares Zell to a Tasmanian devil which causes the stylist to get out of his seat and charge at Ray, tackling him to the floor. Although security eventually pulls them off of one another, Zell ends up with a bloody leg and Ray ends up highly upset. Will these two ever work out their problems?
