New information about Lori Vallow and her husband, Chad Daybell, has continued to emerge since the remains of Vallow's children, Tylee Ryan and Joshua "JJ" Vallow, were recovered on Daybell's Idaho property earlier this month. As the two wait for their next court dates while behind bars, many have looked ahead as to what can be expected throughout the ongoing investigation. However, details regarding how Vallow's children died may not come as quickly as some may have hoped.

According to a press release from the Ada County Coroner's Office released Wednesday, the forensic testing results of Tylee and JJ's remains will not be immediately available. While the remains have been transported from Freemont County Coroner's Office to Ada County, which is better equipped to provide accurate testing, the timeframe for results could take "several weeks to return."

As noted by the release, the relocation is a service that is offered for Idaho counties that "do not have a facility of their own or a board certified Forensic Pathologist on staff."

After the remains are properly analyzed, the Forensic Pathologist's reports will be provided to the Fremont County Coroner. No further information has been released at this time.

Prior to the remains being transported, Fremont County Sheriff deputies, Rexburg Police officers, and the FBI had returned to Daybell's property with a second search warrant on June 9. After aerial footage captured law enforcement officials digging in the backyard, Daybell was taken into custody. Subsequently, he appeared in front of a judge to learn that his bail had been set at $1M.

Following the discovery of Vallow's children, many who knew Daybell have come forward to discuss his "strange" behavior leading up to their disappearance. Not only did a former friend state that she believed he had "opened the doors of darkness," but a one-time colleague had also revealed a bit more about his alleged "dangerous" beliefs.

As for what's ahead for Daybell, who has been described as "a prolific Doomsday author, alleged cult leader and former gravedigger," he has since entered a not guilty plea. His defense attorney, John Prior, has also made a specific request prior to his upcoming trial on July 1.
