Netflix released a trailer for the much-awaited South Korean drama series, "Love Alarm 2," Thursday.

"Love Alarm," starring actors Song Kang, Kim So Hyun and Jung Ga Ram, is one of the most popular Korean series on Netflix. The drama is based on an emotional love triangle between three high school students. It is set in an alternate reality where people use an application called "Love Alarm" to discover true love.

The first season ended with a cliff-hanger, leaving viewers desperately waiting for the next season to know what the future holds for the characters.

On Thursday, Netflix released a cliff-hanger trailer for the second season, adding to the excitement of viewers as they countdown to the release date. In the video, Kim Jo-Jo (Kim So-Hyun) looks shocked and perplexed as she experiences a dilemma about love and relationships and is unable to choose between Hwang Sun-Oh (Song Kang) and Lee Hye-Yeong (Jung Ga Ram).

Hwang believes Kim is still in love with him and desperately tries to win her back. Whereas, Lee continues to stay by her side and refuses to accept defeat.

The 97-second video clip begins with Kim saying, "A world in which if you like someone, their alarm must ring."

"It doesn't matter if it doesn't ring. Because even waiting for it is something that I'm doing together with Jo-Jo," says Lee, despite Kim not ringing his love alarm. He prefers the traditional methods of falling in love instead of depending on the app to do so.

"You fool, aren't you angry?" Kim tearfully asks, as Lee responds, "I was willing to wait for you, no matter what. I told you that it was okay as long as your feelings were sincere," he says, according to Soompi.

Meanwhile, Hwang is shown yelling "You still like me!" as she walks away.

The trailer ends with Kim asking the viewers, "Can you tell me? Who do I like right now?" which is exactly what the fans would like to know as well!

Netflix also released several teaser images for the upcoming show.

Love Alarm Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on March 12 on Netflix.
