‘Lucifer’
What will happen to Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German) in "Lucifer" Season 2, episodes 11, 12 and 13? FOX

“Lucifer” Season 2 is set to release three new episodes this January, starting Monday, Jan. 16. And executive producer Joe Henderson just confirmed that all three installments will be connected to each other.

On his Twitter account, Henderson said that the special three-episode arc is something that he’s extremely proud of. It will kick off with “Stewardess Interruptus,” followed by “Love Handles” and “A Good Day to Die.” But after the three episodes air, it seems that “Lucifer” Season 2 may go on another short hiatus. One fan asked about the hit FOX TV series’ schedule for February, and the writers of “Lucifer” responded by saying that breaks in between episodes are very normal. The writers also tried to appease concerned fans by adding that “Lucifer” is almost on the same schedule as “Gotham.”

Meanwhile, a new promo for “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 11 has just been released by FOX. In the clip, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) is threatened by an unknown character who points a gun at his head. By the looks of it, the villain is Dr. Jacob Carlisle (Tim DeKay). The character will also be part of three episodes of “Lucifer” Season 2.

In “Love Handles,” Lucifer and Chloe (Lauren German) will investigate a series of murders by a mysterious man wearing a mask, who becomes known for poisoning innocent college students. The partners will also have to figure out the status of their relationship after sharing a kiss.

“A Good Day to Die” will see Lucifer trying his best to save Chloe from Dr. Carlisle’s hands. Lucifer will also return to Hell. While there, he will come face-to-face with his guilt over Uriel’s (Michael Imperioli) death.

“Lucifer” Season 2 will return to FOX on Jan. 16 with episode 11. Season 2, episode 12 will air on Jan. 23, while episode 13 airs on Jan. 30 at 9 p.m. EST.
