Maddie Ziegler may be a movie star but the “Dance Moms” alum still has time for a social life. During a sit-down with Extra’s Mario Lopez on Tuesday, Maddie dished about her dating rules and whether or not she’s allowed to have a boyfriend.

“My mom lets me like boys now, which is good. She used to not let me, but now, I mean...” Maddie dished, noticeably embarrassed. “It can’t be like a real [date]. I’m only 14.” Maddie went on to say she can text with boys but added, “I wouldn’t do anything though because I’m only 14.”

Lopez finished up the interview by telling Maddie to have “no boyfriends” while she focuses on her career but his comment may have been too late. In January, Maddie was speculated to be in a relationship with fellow teen Jack Kelly.

During Maddie and her sister Mackenzie Ziegler’s Australia fan tour, the dancer posted a photo of her and Kelly in a bathroom with his armed wrapped around her. The caption was simply a heart emoji. Several days prior to the romantic snap, Maddie shared a photo of a bowling outing with the teen and other friends.

Maddie is currently promoting her first animated film “Leap,” her debut feature film “The Book of Henry” and her memoir “The Maddie Diaries.” In her free time, Maddie says she watches “Grey’s Anatomy,” films videos for her YouTube channel and she has dreams of owning a makeup line.

“I feel like a lot of people think they know every detail about me but they don’t know that I love to paint, do hair and makeup and make funny videos with my friends,” Maddie told Lopez of her book. “I want to show that.”
