Madonna celebrated her son Rocco Ritchie's 22nd birthday last week and shared a series of photos on her Instagram page Monday, just a day before her own special day.

In the first photo, the 64-year-old singer can be seen sitting with Rocco, who turned 22 on Aug. 11. The next photo features the mother and son, with drinks in their hands, seemingly having a conversation. Two musicians are seen in the background playing for the birthday boy.

Another photo shows Rocco cutting a cake that was shaped like a brown briefcase.

The birthday boy was also accompanied by his two 9-year-old sisters - Stelle and Estere Ciccone. The dinner table was decorated with flowers and candles. The singer posed next to it while flaunting her dress.

"From one Leo to another!! Happy birthday Rocco," the singer wrote in the caption as both the son and mother are Leos. She will celebrate her birthday Tuesday, just five after Rocco's birthday.

Many celebrities and online users shared birthday wishes in the comments section.

Egyptian artist Youssef Nabil wrote, "Happy Birthday Rocco" with flower emojis, while comedian Rosie O'Donnell commented, "So happy to see him."

"Rocco is so handsome 😍Happy birthday," one of the users noted, while another one added, "Blimey absolute image of his father."

The singer shares Rocco with director Guy Ritchie. The former couple was married from 2000 to 2008. Madonna was married to actor Sean Penn from 1995 to 1989.

Stelle and Estere are Madonna's adopted daughters. She also has two more adopted children – 16-year-olds Mercy James and David Banda. The singer shares another daughter, Lourdes Leon, 25, with actor Carlos Leon.

On the work front, Madonna released a remix version of her "Ray of Light" album on June 15. The music video was helmed by Jonas Åkerlund.
