Four people died, and 1 minor girl suffered injuries, after an alleged shooting at an Ohio residence Friday.

The police responded to reports of multiple people shot at a residence in Cleveland's Brooklyn Center neighborhood at around 8 p.m. Friday. Upon arrival, the officers found five gunshot victims at the scene, and administered aid until the paramedics reached, News5Cleveland reported.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified three of the victims as 69-year-old Miguel Gonzalez, 34-year-old Angelic Gonzalez, and her son 16-year-old Jayden Baez. They were pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

Two other victims, 48-year-old Anthony Boothe and his 8-year-old daughter, were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition for treatment. While Boothe died later from his injuries, his daughter continued to receive treatment at the hospital, as of Sunday afternoon.

The suspect, identified as 41-year-old Martin Muniz, had reportedly flagged down a Cleveland Police squad car, indicating to the officers that five people had been shot and even telling them where they can be located. He was detained by cops at the scene, as per a statement by the Cleveland police.

Muniz allegedly shot all five victims in the head in different rooms of the house shortly after 7 p.m., according to a criminal complaint accessed by 19 News.

The police later discovered Muniz was the son of 69-year-old Miguel and the brother of 34-year-old Angelic. Furthermore, Baez was his nephew. However, his relationship with Boothe and his daughter weren't clear.

Muniz was charged with three counts of aggravated murder Sunday. A motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.

After a preliminary investigation, Cleveland Police Chief Wayne Drummond said the shooting was an "isolated incident," as per WKYC.

Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia believed the case was a domestic violence incident.

"Our hearts go out to the family."

City Hall issued a statement, confirming Mayor Justin M. Bibb was at the scene with officers. "This has been a painful week as we face the devastation caused by another horrific act of gun violence in our city. Tonight's incident is particularly tragic as it took place at home, a place where a family should feel safe and secure."

Cleveland City Councilwoman Jasmine Santana, who was at the scene, said it was a "tragic thing."

"I ask people to just be patient as we investigate the case. And I ask for prayers for the families that are in the hospital," Santana said.
