Manny Pacquiao, the all star boxer known most recently for his high profile fight against Floyd Mayweather in 2015, turned 38 Saturday. The milestone came a little less than a month after he announced to the world that he planned to continue his boxing career at a new gym.

Pacquiao has won world titles in eight different weight divisions. The boxer has a 57-6-2 win-loss-draw record and was the first sitting senator to ever win one a world title.

His boxing success has propelled him from the slums of General Santos City in the Philippines, where he grew up, to be a multi-millionaire charging huge sums for fights and was estimated to be the second highest-paid boxer when considering lifetime earnings. The top earner was Mayweather.

Here are some of the more memorable sayings from the boxing great.
