He may have reached the level of success most of his peers in the industry could only dream about but Park Seo-Joon makes sure he stays grounded. At the very least, "The Marvels" star says he wants to be a "good influence" on his fans by being picky about the roles on his TV and film projects.

"When I hear that people gained strength after seeing my project, I feel proud, and when I realize that I could have a good influence on someone, I have a stronger sense of responsibility. I always think that I should think about whether I'm on the right path and how I should be a better person for those who watch my projects," the "Itaewon Class" actor said in the December cover issue of Korea's Marie Claire, Soompi reported.

When asked about how he maintains growth as an actor, Park told the magazine, "I tend to try new things even if it's just a little, and I choose characters and projects that I will be able to express well. I want to try all the roles that I can do well at my current age."

Park, 32, is currently in England filming the latest "Marvels" installment, where he stars opposite Brie Larson as female superhero Captain Marvel.

The "Parasite" actor reached London in September to start filming the movie. He raved about London's skyline in an Instagram post at the time and it received over 1.5 million likes from eager fans.

"Before sunset," the actor simply captioned his post.

Awesome Entertainment confirmed his appearance in "The Marvels" only on Sept. 3, the day he boarded a plane to London, although rumors about his appearance in the upcoming superhero flick have been circulating since August.

Before traveling to London, Park had wrapped up filming "The Concrete Utopia," where he was cast alongside "Strongwoman Do Bong-Soon" star Park Bo-Young and Lee Byung-Hun.

The disaster thriller film is based on the hit webtoon "Joyful Outcast" and delves into the story of a community that tries to survive after being gripped by a strong earthquake. Park plays the role of a hardworking civil servant who assists Lee's character in helping residents rebuild their lives and protecting the survivors of the quake against outsiders.

In a separate interview, Park divulged his secret on being an effective action star.

"In a show, it's really more like choreography, so you get to practice that," the "Fight For My Way" star noted. He added that good editing makes action scenes work well for him as he highlighted the need for exercise as action roles can be physically demanding.

On being a fashion icon, Park admitted his clothing preferences have changed over the years. As he increasingly leans toward comfortable apparel over trendy ones, he is grateful to the stylists who help him dress up on glamorous occasions.

"It's actually like good etiquette to dress appropriately for those occasions," Park said adding that he always packs a suit when traveling abroad.
