“The Matrix 4” appears to be recreating a classic Neo (Keanu Reeves) scene. A leaked video has surfaced online that shows Reeves filming a scene with Carrie-Anne Moss, who is reprising her role as Trinity, and the scene appears to reveal what the plot will be about.

The following article contains spoilers from “The Matrix 4.”

Filming is currently ongoing in San Francisco. A leaked video from the production set that has surfaced online shows Reeves and Moss jumping off a skyscraper together. The video should remind the fans of the time when Neo was first learning the mechanics of the Matrix and how he could defy the laws of physics like gravity if he believed in his abilities.

The video shows Neo falling off the building, just as he did in the first try in the 1999 movie. However, he will not fall to the ground in the new movie because Trinity will hold his hand and teach him to fly in “The Matrix 4.”

Just as Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) was guiding Neo in the first movie, Trinity appears to be taking on the role of the teacher in the upcoming film. This means that Neo will be a regular person in the movie, just as in the 1999 flick, and he will have to discover the secrets of the world with the help of others.

Leaked pictures from the production set that have been posted on TMZ shows Neo having shoulder-length hair and a messy beard. Moss was also be spotted on the set with her co-star.

More details about the plot may be revealed after the filming wraps. There have been reports that suggest that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will be playing the role of a young Morpheus, Screen Rant reported.

“The Matrix 4” will be released on May 21, 2021.
