May is a big month for TV finales, but spring isn’t the end of new programming anymore. Dozens of new and returning shows will premiere throughout the month.

Returning shows start off right away with “iZombie” Season 5 premiering May 2. “Lucifer” will also make its highly anticipated return after being canceled by Fox and revived by Netflix. Fan favorites like “The Bachelorette,” “When Calls The Heart” and “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” also have May premiere dates.

Plenty of new TV series will kick off in May too. Amazon will finally launch their adaptation of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s “Good Omens,” which follows an angel and a demon working together during the apocalypse. Starz will debut “The Spanish Princess,” a historical drama about Catherine of Aragon based on Philippa Gregory’s novels. Meanwhile, George Clooney will return to TV with Hulu’s “Catch-22,” based on Joseph Heller’s classic book.
