Even though there was no grand prize winner after the latest lottery drawing, two players were able to become instant millionaires. A player from Indiana and another from Tennessee hit the Match 5 with a Megaplier purchase and won $2 million apiece.

Aside from the two instant millionaires, several players were able to snag smaller monetary prizes following the latest drawing. Twenty players hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, winning a $10,000 prize.

Meanwhile, there were only three players that were able to hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball with a 2X Megaplier purchase and win 20,000 each. The rest of the lottery prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $1,000.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $325 million with a cash option of $224.1 million. The numbers will be drawn on Friday, Jan. 14.

The latest drawing comes after a player in Westbrook, Maine won $3 million following the Monday night drawing. Maryanne Alhamdany, the owner of Westbrook Market where the winning ticket was sold, told a local outlet the winner was a regular customer.

“He’s one of those people that you’re just so happy to see win because he’s just, he is a kind person. He’s always been respectful, always pleasant to wait on,” Alhamdany said.

The convenience store will receive a $25,000 bonus for selling the ticket and plans to use it for renovations.

Mega Million winners can choose to receive their winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Those who select the annuity receive one immediate payment that is followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% every year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
