The Mega Millions jackpot has grown after the Friday night lottery drawing yielded no winners for the $355 million grand prize, with a cash value of $187 million. However, there were plenty of smaller monetary prizes that resulted from the latest drawing.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Friday, Sept. 30, were 16, 26, 37, 40, 51, with a gold Mega Ball of 6. The Megaplier was 4X.

Since the jackpot went unclaimed, it will grow to $380 million, with a cash option of $198.4 million. The next jackpot drawing will take place Tuesday, Oct. 4.

Along with no grand prize lottery winners from the Friday night drawing, there were no instant millionaires.

If a player would have hit the Match 5, they would have won winning $1 million. However, if the ticket holder would have played with the Megaplier, they could have won $4 million.

Twenty-two players hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, winning $10,000 apiece. Meanwhile, four players managed to snag $40,000 each by hitting the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball with the Megaplier.

The rest of the wins from the night ranged between $2 and $2,000.

The latest jackpot comes after a brother and sister from Virginia won $1 million. The siblings often play the lottery together and managed to hit the Match 5 for the Sept. 20 drawing.

While the brother plans to use his share of the prize money to donate to his favorite charities, his sister hopes to travel.

Mega Millions jackpot winners can receive their grand prize winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states, as well as the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
