Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle's shared passion and differences were unveiled by a body language expert.

On Wednesday, Middleton and Markle shared the stage together for the first time at the Royal Foundation forum. It was Middleton, Markle, Prince William and Prince Harry's first official engagement together. The Duchess of Cambridge and the "Suits" star were all smiles and showed a "strong family vibe." According to body language expert Judi James, Middleton and Markle center around "their cause plus Harry's humour."

"When Harry joked we saw both women share genuine matching smiles and mirror the partial cut-off gesture when their hands mimicked face-covering. The cause was clearly also important to both although there was some interesting body language thrown up when suggestions of 'disagreements' were thrown up," James told Cosmopolitan.

James noticed that Prince Harry's fiancée and Prince William's wife initially hid their faces behind their hair until Markle laughed and grabbed the Duke's arm. The fab four laughed as Prince Harry and Prince William admitted that there were disagreements between them as they worked together. However, they know that they have to deal with it as they are "stuck together forever."

Although Markle and Middleton have the same reaction when it comes to Prince Harry, they have different personalities. The Duchess of Cambridge tends to have a simpler and calmer approach than the "Horrible Bosses" actress.

"Kate's calmer, simpler approach, sitting back in her chair with a rather demure hand clasp gave a glimpse of what being a royal must have taught her, which is that people listen anyway with no need to ramp up the passion and drama," James explained. "Meghan's approach is hugely 'hit-the-ground-running' with her upright posture and her trait of sitting with one elbow in partial splay mode suggesting high levels of confidence and a desire to get her message across."

Royal expert Kelly Lynch echoed her thoughts. According to her, Markle's experience from her occupation as an actress gave her the confidence that took years for Middleton to build up. Lynch believes that Markle's advocacies will center on women empowerment and gender equality.

Lynch seemed to have it right as Markle talked about the Time's Up movement at the event.

"Women don't need to find their voice, they need to feel empowered to use it and people need to be encouraged to listen," Markle said. "Right now with so many campaigns, Me Too and Time's Up, there is no better time to really continue to shine a light on women feeling empowered and people really helping to support them, men included in that."

Markle revealed earlier that Prince Harry is a feminist too, so it is likely that she has her future husband's support for the charities she wants to represent.
