Meghan Markle reportedly played a surprising role in Prince William and Prince Harry’s alleged feud. Contrary to rumors, the Duchess of Sussex wasn’t the one that caused tension between the royal siblings.

Royal correspondent Emily Andrews told Yahoo’s “The Royal Box” that there is also no truth to the rumors that Markle and Kate Middleton are at odds with each other. Rather, it is Prince William who has been butting heads with Prince Harry throughout the past couple of months.

“They had a falling out over money, over status, and I think there is another reason I think is part of the reason why they fell out. In the beginning, when Harry and Meghan were still dating, it became very obvious to William that Harry and Meghan were serious but the relationship was going very quickly,” she said.

Upon hearing his older brother’s concerns, Prince Harry became defensive of Markle and took it the wrong way. The Duke of Sussex told the future King that he is trying to destroy his relationship with the “Suits” alum even before it started.

But despite Prince William’s comments about Prince Harry and Markle’s relationship, the latter still tried to make peace between her husband and brother-in-law. However, Prince Harry and Prince William didn’t see each other privately for six months. They only reunited in private after Markle gave birth to her son.

In public, Prince William and Prince Harry continued to attend royal engagements together. But a body language expert said that the siblings’ interaction with each other has changed drastically.

During one public outing, Prince William and Prince Harry barely spoke to each other. But Prince Harry and Markle spoke with Middleton. But after Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born, Prince William and Middleton visited the latest addition to their family at Frogmore Cottage.

As of late, Archie’s cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis haven’t visited him and his parents yet.
