Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s 9-month-old son, Archie, could suffer because of his parents’ struggles.

Psychotherapist Nick Davies said that the Duke of Sussex’s grief and trauma from the sudden death of Princess Diana may affect Archie when he gets older. In the same way, the Duchess of Sussex’s stress and anxiety may also be inherited by her son.

“There are many studies on mirror neurons that reveal how you can inherit a phobia or trauma from your parent as you grow up, even if you do not experience it personally. So, you watch what your parents are fearful of as you grow up and as children, we watch our parents attentively, so as we grow up whatever stimulus they fear or become angry with, we copy that and mimic that behavior. This means Prince Harry’s grief and trauma could definitely have a knock-on-effect with his children,” he told Express.

Davies also said that he doesn’t think Prince Harry’s decision to quit the royal family will give him a sense of relief for a long time. After all, the expert has observed how the Duke of Sussex needs big changes at least every 18 months. Davies said that after over a year since his bombshell exit, Prince Harry will face insurmountable agony over his decision.

“There is a phrase a philosopher once used and this is the problem, ‘wherever you go, there you are.’ So, Harry encountered his trauma and there it was, so he has decided to leave. But it will probably be another 18 months and then it will pop up again, so they might have another move, but then it could happen again and again,” he said.

And the fact that Prince Harry keeps talking about his trauma and reinforcing all of his negative memories could only mean that he stays awake at night and continues to worry.

Meanwhile, royal commentator Angela Mollard warned Prince Harry against isolating Archie from his cousins. On the “Royals” podcast, Mollard couldn’t help but wonder what will happen to Archie if his parents don’t have more children.

And since Markle doesn’t have a close relationship with her siblings and other relatives, Archie is at a huge risk of being isolated.
