Meghan Markle frightened many netizens when a clip of her jiggling her baby, Archie, was shared on social media.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kicked off their tour to South Africa last week. Prince Harry and Markle decided to take their son Archie with them when they visited Archbishop Desmond Tutu at his foundation.

A clip of Markle playing with her baby was shared on Twitter. In the short video, the first-time mom jiggles Archie as she dances with him. While the sight appears adorable, some are concerned with what Markle did to the baby. According to many netizens. the duchess has no clue on how to play with a baby safely.

“Certain kinds of roughhousing is dangerous for baby. Children under 2 years can sustain very serious injuries if they're thrown up in the air, shaken, or bounced vigorously. Avoid any play that involves jostling your baby's unsupported head or neck or bouncing her up and down,” one concerned netizen wrote.

“Had she ever heard of shaken baby syndrome?!? Why is she doing that?!” another user commented.

“So awkward, her body language with him isn’t motherly or comfortable imo,” a different netizen wrote.

Meanwhile, many also noticed how Tutu’s daughter appeared concerned and ready to catch Archie if Markle ever drops her baby. Some praised Tutu’s daughter because they noticed that she was more concerned for Archie and was gearing up to catch him.

“Titus daughter is ready to catch Archie cus Meg ain’t gotta a clue,” the royal follower wrote.

“Mrs Tutu is getting ready to catch the poor soul,” another user wrote.

The majority of the netizens couldn’t understand why Markle did it. For them, the duchess was “overdoing it.”

“She has no clue how to play with a baby! Haphazzard looks concerned and the lady on the right looks worried about Archie being dropped!” Cathy Leach wrote.

Following Archie’s short appearance with his parents, his photos with Markle made it to the covers of several tabloids. However, one netizen wondered where Prince Harry was because even if he was present when the snaps were taken, he was not included on the tabloid covers.

In related news, Prince Harry and Markle are still in South Africa. However, many are already convinced that their trip is successful and that they have already turned things up in their favor after facing a year-long of negative publicity.
