Meghan Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., recently accused the Duchess of Sussex of destroying his life. He also said that he wants to change his surname.

Even though the two have been estranged for years, Thomas is still convinced that it is the surname that he shares with his half-sister that is making it impossible for him to find a job.

While speaking with The Sun, Thomas also said that he’s been homeless for quite some time. And he recently moved in with his elderly mother in New Mexico.

“Being associated with Meghan has nearly destroyed me. I am homeless and could have been under a bridge with a cardboard sign begging for money. But thankfully my mom has taken me in. Mentally, this has been a [expletive] nightmare since Meghan got together with Harry,” he said.

Thomas threw shade at the Duchess of Sussex for helping various charities when she couldn’t help her own family.

“For her to sit there on her royal pedestal and watch this happening to her family – she should have done her humanitarian work for us. I’m sick of hearing about her and Harry helping this charity, that charity – whatever cause is in this week,” he said.

By the looks of it, Thomas doesn’t have access to television or the Internet because Markle has already quit The Firm. This means that she is no longer associated with the royal family, and she will also be helping charities and earning income independently.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that Markle’s half-brother has lashed out at her. In fact, Thomas previously predicted that Markle and Prince Harry’s marriage would end in a divorce.

During his interview with New Idea last month, Thomas said that he’s worried that the royal couple’s marriage won’t survive because the “Suits” alum has a history of using people and then leaving them without any explanation.

That’s exactly what happened to Markle and her ex-husband, Trevor Engelson. The Duchess of Sussex just left Engelson without an explanation.
