Meghan Markle’s estranged dad, Thomas Markle Sr., just hit out at his daughter and his critics.

While speaking with TMZ, the former lighting director threatened to continue cashing in on the Duchess of Sussex until she and Prince Harry reach out to him. Thomas said that he just needs to do whatever he can to look out for himself since the royal couple has been ghosting him for months.

Markle’s dad plans to cash in on the “Suits” alum by appearing on paid interviews and by making public appearances. He recently headlined the Channel 5 documentary “Thomas Markle: My Story.”

During his interview, Markle’s dad claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as the royal family, owes him.

“At this point, they owe me. The royals owe me. Harry owes me, Meghan owes me. What I’ve been through I should be rewarded for,” he said.

Thomas also shared one of his daughter’s promises to him when they were still on good terms.

“My daughter told me when I reach my senior years, she’ll take care of me. I’m in my senior years now… so it’s time to look after daddy,” he said.

Markle’s feud with her dad started just weeks before her royal wedding to Prince Harry. At that time, Thomas posed for a series of fake photographs for Daily Mail.

Days after he came clean about his shocking move, Prince Harry and Markle announced that Thomas will no longer be attending their wedding. However, the main reason had to do with his heart attack.

Royal experts are convinced that Markle may never forgive and trust her dad ever again. On the “Royals” podcast, royal commentator Angela Mollard said that if she’s in the Duchess of Sussex’s shoes, she will be suspicious of her father. After all, Thomas once sold out his own daughter and he may do the same thing the next time he has the chance.
