Meghan Markle's former best friend, Jessica Mulroney, shared a cryptic post online amid the former's Netflix docuseries.

Mulroney, who used to be the Duchess of Sussex's BFF, shared a cryptic quote on Instagram nearly a week after "Harry & Meghan" debuted and just days before the streaming giant dropped Vol. II of the docuseries.

"Best thing I ever did was learn how to move without the crowd," the message read, which was originally shared on Hamptons interior designer Tom Samet's account, Page Six reported.

The outlet noticed the timing of the mysterious post because many were wondering why she was not interviewed in Prince Harry and Markle's documentary despite her close friendship with the former "Suits" star.

However, viewers pointed out that when the royal couple reflected on their 2017 engagement, footage of herself FaceTiming a friend named "Jess" played before it cut to Prince Harry popping the big question.

"Oh, my God, Jess, it's happening," Markle said in the video. "He told me not to peek."

Mulroney's noticeable absence in "Harry & Meghan" prompted some fans to speculate that the former BFFs never recovered from their falling-out in 2020. Markle was dragged into Mulroney's racism controversy. Social media influencer and single mom Sasha Exeter claimed that Mulroney threatened her job after the former encouraged social media influencers to support the Black Lives Matter movement. Exeter called out Markle's ex-BFF for allegedly using her "white privilege."

"Listen, I am by no means calling Jess a racist, but what I will say is this, she is very well aware of her wealth, her perceived power and privilege because of the color of her skin. And that, my friends, gave her the momentary confidence to come for my livelihood in writing," Exer said in a video on Instagram after Mulroney reportedly took offense to her general call-to-arms for white influencers to speak out against anti-Black racism.

Mulroney immediately apologized and said she was sorry for the hurt she caused Exeter.

"I want to say from my heart that every word of my apologies to Sasha over the course of the last two weeks privately, and again both publicly and privately today is true," she wrote on Instagram. "I did not intend in any way to jeopardize her livelihood. We had a disagreement and it got out of hand."

Following the scandal, one source told Entertainment Tonight that Markle distanced herself from the Canadian stylist. Another source told The Sun's executive editor Dan Wootton that the controversy broke their friendship.

"Jessica's team have made it clear that she feels completely ditched by Meghan and fears she is going to cut her out of her life for good," a source told Wootton.

"She's completely distraught and devastated because Meghan has done nothing to stand up for her publicly. Jessica is terrified she will never work again. Meghan has forsaken her most loyal friend just to look woke."

Meanwhile, another anonymous insider told Us Weekly that the incident was "hugely offensive" to Markle and served as the "deciding factor" for the duchess about their friendship.

"Meghan considers the relationship to be done," the source claimed.
