  • Melania Trump is not a feminist
  • Melania Trump married "old goat" Donald Trump
  • Melania Trump was lambasted by a journalist

Melania Trump was recently savaged by a writer from the United Kingdom, who questioned the FLOTUS’ claim that she’s a feminist.

Catherine Bennet, a journalist for the Observer, lambasted the first lady in her column after a slew of people tried to call her a feminist. Bennett said that not only is the FLOTUS far from being a feminist but she’s also just Donald Trump’s big leaf.

“The spectacle of Melania Trump at the NATO celebrations, inside an outfit that looked half papal, half gobstopper, was not the neatest fit with older, possibly inaccurate perceptions of pallid misery and a mutinous resolve to reserve a separate identity from the old goat she, however inexplicably, married,” she wrote.

Bennett then discussed the POTUS and the FLOTUS’s outing on Christmas Eve where they arrived in church while holding each other’s hands.

“At an event that exposed, to the largest of audiences, Donald Trump’s more comical deficiencies, his alleged victim appeared all loyalty. Stockholm syndrome? Or could Mrs. Trump, hardly a feminist icon from the start, have long been the object of spurious concern, sympathy, wishful thinking?” she said.

The journalist also criticized the “Free, Melania,” which was written by Kate Bennett. The Observer journalist Bennett accused the book author of being biased.

In the book, the author claimed that Melania broadly agrees with President Trump’s politics and was one of the people who encouraged the POTUS to run for office. However, a true feminist is someone who respects women as someone who is independent of their partners.

This week, the first lady’s visit to the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in February was revisited when the White House uploaded a series of photos of videos from the FLOTUS’ previous visit with a beautiful caption.

However, Melania’s critics immediately lambasted her on social media.

“Let’s start with your husband bullying @GretaThunberg,” Twitter user @TCondonChicago said.

“And what about the caged immigrant children? I still can’t imagine as a mother as FLOTUS she hasn’t done a thing for the caged immigrant children. That’ll be the legacy. The FLOTUS who could’ve would’ve and should’ve but didn’t,” Twitter user @elvarstam said.
