Ivana Trump and Melania Trump are reportedly still silently feuding, but things weren’t always like this years ago.

In her book “Raising Trump,” Ivana talked about her relationship with the FLOTUS. President Donald Trump’s ex-wife said that she has no problem with the first lady because she wasn’t responsible for breaking up her marriage.

The POTUS had an affair with Marla Maples while he was still married to Ivana. The couple eventually divorced, and President Trump had a daughter with Maples.

Years later, the POTUS started dating Melania, and they tied the knot in 2005. They have been together ever since.

Meanwhile, Ivana also said that she used to be cordial with Melania, but things changed after her private comments landed frontpage news. In 2016, the New York Daily News claimed that Ivana talked negatively about the FLOTUS.

“She can’t talk, she can’t give a speech,” Ivana reportedly said.

According to reports, President Trump’s wife was furious after reading the article about her. Immediately after, Ivana penned an apology text message addressed to the first lady.

“You have never done anything wrong to me, and I never have to you. You are in the family, and I would never do anything against the family. Love, Ivana,” she texted.

Melania reportedly accepted Ivana’s apology, but things quickly turned sour between the two after Ivana claimed that she’s technically the “first lady” because President Trump married her first.

Shortly after, the FLOTUS’s East Wing responded with an official statement saying that Melania plans to use her title and role as the first lady to help children and not to sell books.

In related news, Ivana also talked about her 1992 divorce from President Trump saying that it was brutal. The POTUS reportedly handled the matter as a business deal, and he made sure that he would win.

Ivana reportedly received $14 million in divorce settlement decades ago. She was also awarded an apartment in New York and a mansion in Connecticut. Ivana also received $650,000 yearly in alimony and child support.
