  • Michelle Obama won't run for president

Michelle Obama was once again encouraged to run for president after she shared a photo of her family’s Christmas card.

On her Instagram account, the ex-FLOTUS shared a simple-looking Christmas card with a touching message about magic, peace, and hope. Michelle also included a lengthy caption alongside the photo of her family’s Christmas card.

“As we end this decade and begin the next one, let’s continue working to become even better – for ourselves and for each other,” she wrote.

Supporters of the former first lady immediately begged her to run for president in next year’s election.

“Can you run for president? Please?” Instagram user @susanger788 said.

“Merry Christmas! May the New Year bring you joy, peace, and bestow upon you the democratic nomination for president. I believe that would bring joy and peace to our nation,” Instagram user @cmferran said.

“Michelle, can you please run for president? We need you!” Instagram user @mesosoupy said.

“Have we told you lately how much we miss your family? No? We all do… Signed, America,” Instagram user @jojogreennva said.

“Your love and devotion help keep me sane! Michelle 2020!!!” Instagram user @judyp25 said.

Meanwhile, rumors regarding Michelle running for president have been rife throughout the past couple of months. Last month, political commentator Tucker Carlson claimed that there’s still hope for the former first lady to announce her candidacy.

While speaking with Fox News Live, Carlson noted the fact that Barack Obama has not endorsed his former Vice President Joe Biden, who is running for president in the 2020 elections. He said that this opens up the possibility for Michelle announcing her candidacy at the last minute.

The political commentator also claimed that Michelle’s statement about not wanting to become the next president of the United States is not true. And the fact that she released her “I Am Becoming” journal could be one of her ways to get on the road and talk to crowds.
