Mildred Patricia Baena: Reports claim Schwarzenegger's love child is a spitting image
Within 24 hours after the news broke that Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child with a member of his household staff, the name of the mother has been released.
Mildred Patricia Baena is the mother of the out of wedlock child. The child is estimated to be approximately 14 years old, according to a report by ABC News.
According to TMZ, the child is a spitting image of Schwarzenegger.
Radar Online, in a joint investigation with Star Magazine, were the first to report her identity. Baena, who is 50 years old, worked as a housekeeper for Schwarzenegger. She worked as a housekeeper and an assistant in Schwarzenegger's household for more than 20 years, according to reports from ABC News. Her duties included cleaning, laundry, cooking and other chores.
Photos of the child have also surfaced, but those who have posted it obscured the face.
She retired from her job in January, around the same time Schwarzenegger's term as governor of California was over. This was also the time Schwarzenegger told Shriver about the out of wedlock child. Schwarzenegger and Shriver announced their separation last week, after 25 years of marriage.
Baena also has a MySpace page which describes her as a proud parent and says she is dating or searching for a serious relationship.
She's the one, a source old Radar Online.
They have a son together, the site said, citing another source.
Sources told TMZ that in the late 90's she began to pursue Arnold. She told friends that they would have unprotected sex during the day at the house, according to the report. She never slept overnight at the house and was not caught, according to the report.
She is reportedly living three hours away from Los Angeles with the child, who is about 10 years old.
Shriver recently released a statement asking for privacy and compassion.
This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment, she said in a statement.
