Just when they thought things might finally be getting back to some sense of normalcy and they were going to be able to move on, the drama only continues to erupt in spectacular and new ways, threatening everything for the loved ones Jon left behind on “A Million Little Things.”

Katherine (Grace Park) and Eddie (David Giuntoli) finally decided what their future held as they continued trying to get past the fact that he has a daughter with Delilah (Stephanie Szostak), but that doesn’t mean the couple’s commitment to making their marriage work sill isn’t going to be tested as they look to see what their future holds in Season 2, Episode 5, “Austin.”

“Eddie and Katherine look for a fresh start,” a synopsis for the episode reads.

However, while a fresh start may seem like a good thing for the conflicted pair, a preview clip for the episode (see above) seems to indicate it isn’t one that will be overly positive. In the clip, Eddie sees Katherine’s search history online and realizes she’s been looking for homes in Austin, Texas—a place that is nearly 2,000 miles away from their current base in Boston, Massachusetts. It appears Katherine has her eyes set on truly getting a fresh start somewhere far away from Delilah, baby Charlie, and all of the pain she and Eddie have endured, as she admits when he confronts her that she does want to move.

That will be a tricky scenario for the couple to handle and deal with, since Eddie wants to have as close of a relationship as possible with the daughter he can’t be with, and it may mean their struggles are far from over as a result.

Meanwhile, Rome (Romany Falco) and Regina (Christina Moses) will also be having their own marital struggles resurface, as they celebrate a milestone in his parents’ lives and realize they never really settled their predicament over kids.

“Rome and Regina make big plans to celebrate Rome’s parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and are forced to take a closer look at their own marital woes,” the synopsis states.

However, the drama facing those two couples may be nothing compared to what’s heading Maggie (Allison Miller) and Gary’s (James Roday) way, as her growing bond with Eric (Jason Ritter) after learning he has her brother’s heart will continue throwing a wrench into her relationship, since she is leaning on Eric and not the man she loves.

“Gary feels disconnected from Maggie,” the synopsis says.

“A Million Little Things” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
