The latest information about Xbox Lockhart or Xbox Series S comes from Twitter user XB1_HexDecimal. The tipster shares several images showing the name Xbox Lockhart also reportedly called Xbox Series S. According to the Twitter user, these references were discovered in the libraries of Windows OS.

The tipster also underlined that digging deeper into the OS code of the Windows Libraries would let anyone see references to Xbox Lockhart. Other codenames for other Xbox systems like Xbox One X and Scorpio are also available on the Windows OS Libraries.

Earlier rumors were claiming that Microsoft already dropped Xbox Lockhart or the Xbox Series S. However, some Microsoft insiders believe otherwise. Recently, Windows Central's Jez Corden that he spoke to some developers who confirmed to him that they are still "targeting the console." Regarding the announcement, Wccftech believes that Microsoft might do it when it is ready to announce the Xbox Series X price.

The site claims that the Xbox Series X's price would be the Redmond-based tech giant's main drawn over the more powerful and a little bit pricey Xbox Series X. However, it is worth mentioning that, despite these references to Xbox Lockhart, otherwise known as Xbox Series S, it does not necessarily mean that it will be released, just a strong indication that it could be.
