There aren't many shows that seem as though they would cost just as much per episode as HBO's "Game of Thrones," but reportedly AppleTV+'s new fall 2019 offering "The Morning Show" has done just that. The high budget is partially due to the stars' hefty salaries.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon's new series, set to premiere Nov. 1, is said to have cost more than $15 million an episode, the same as each episode of "GoT" Season 8. Following the world of morning news, Aniston's Alex Levy and Witherspoon's Bradley Jackson will attempt to find their own unique paths in the specific space. With the series reportedly costing $15 million an episode, how much are the two main stars slated to earn themselves?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, each actress is set to earn $2 million per episode, per season.

Prior to signing on, Aniston reportedly earned various amounts for each season she was on "Friends," fluctuating between $75,000 (Season 3, 1997) and $1 million (Seasons 9 and 10, 2003-2004) per episode. For her part, Witherspoon is thought to have earned between $250,000 and $350,000 for each episode in Season 1 of HBO's "Big Little Lies."

These high paychecks, both past and present, have afforded both actresses the ability to accumulate substantial net worths, with Aniston coming in at a reported $300 million and Witherspoon at approximately $200 million.

Steve Carrell has also signed on for Season 1 of the new Apple TV+ project. However, his salary for the new project has not been revealed.

After officially joining the cast, both Aniston and Witherspoon reportedly prepared for the new roles in various ways. Not only did the former "Friends" actress visit the set of "Good Morning America" in order to see behind the veneer of morning news, but she also revealed that she had conversations with prominent women in the space, including "CBS This Morning" host Gayle King and former "ABC World News" anchor Diane Sawyer.

Additionally, Witherspoon has shared that she too prepared by learning about the day-to-day lives of news producers.
