Shinso was feeling overwhelmed by all the amazing performances by everyone on the Hero Course, but Deku reassures him that his quick decisions were incredible and that’s why he’ll be joining the course in their second year. After that, Deku, All Might, and Bakugo go to the nap room to talk about Black Whip," read the synopsis for "My Hero Academia" Season 5, Episode 12.

In the last episode, Class A and Class B are in the last leg of their final match of the joint training tournament. Deku unleashes his Black Whip Quirk but could not control it. Ochako seeks Shinso's assistance in calming Deku down.

All Might wonders if they should continue the match as things look bleak and highly unpredictable. However, Aizawa feels the students must continue and finish the battle. He feels they are not ready to give up. Moreover, the Pro Hero sees the immense desire in them to win the match.
