The 80-year-old was involved in a controversy recently as a video showing her entering a hair salon without a mask has been made public. Critics of the House Speaker quickly attacked her, especially Donald Trump who said that Pelosi has “lectured” everyone to wear a mask at all times but she could not follow it herself.

The Guardian reports Pelosi reasoned that it was a setup and she felt sorry that she fell for it. Experts are saying the attacks are made to distract the public about Joe Biden having the slight advantage over Trump in initial poll results.
