“Nashville” is no stranger to famous guest stars, but the lastest celebrity might be their biggest name yet. Sir Elton John will perform on Season 4 of the ABC drama.

The “Piano Man” singer will guest star in Season 4, episode 21, according to the Hollywood Reporter. While many celebrity guests just have a line or two during their cameo appearances, it seems John will have a whole song. He’ll belt out a tune with Gunnar (Sam Palladio), one half of The Exes. His singing partner Scarlett (Clare Bowen) will likely be at least a little envious. No word on what song the two will sing.

While the “Tiny Dancer” singer has plenty of TV credits, his experiences on scripted projects are actually pretty limited, according to his IMDb page. His previous TV gigs include a voice on “Bob the Builder” and an appearance in “The Nanny.”

John is one of several famous faces expected to pop up in the last episodes of “Nashville” Season 4. The drama also booked Kesha and Kelsea Ballerini for guest appearances this spring, THR revealed last month. Like John, Thomas Rhett will perform a song, his single “Die a Happy Man,” when he guest stars in episode 16. Past cameo appearances include Steven Tyler, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley and Florida Georgia Line.

Fans will have to wait to see the celebs, though. There won’t be any famous guest stars in this week’s episode because “Nashville” will be focused on bringing back Juliette (Hayden Panettiere). After leaving in episode 8, the singer has finally finished rehab for postpartum depression. She’ll step right back into the spotlight in episode 14, but it won’t be easy. Even more difficult will be winning back Avery’s (Jonathan Jackson) trust.

Elton John’s episode of “Nashville” Season 4 is expected to air Wednesday, May 18 at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
