Authorities earlier this month discovered the bodies of Anthony Todt's family, specifically his wife and three children.

Osceola County Sheriff deputies made the discovery after noticing a strong foul odor inside Todt's home in Celebration, Orlando, when they came to execute a warrant for Todt's arrest.

In the report, the deputies said that Mr. Anthony Todt, 44, could barely stand and was shaking when he was walking from down the stairs in his home from the second floor.

Todt said that his wife Megan was sleeping, and the kids may be at a sleepover when he was questioned if anyone else was in the house.

After the deputies called out for Todt's wife, they got no response. The stench also increased as they reached the second floor, and that was when deputies discovered the bodies of the family alongside that of a dog inside the bedroom. The bodies were decomposing.

A deputy said that while they were outside the master bedroom, they could see a body on the floor.

The deputy said the body was wrapped in blankets, and a black and blue in color was sticking out.

Megan, 42, had two stab wounds to her abdomen, while Alek and Tyler, 13 and 11 respectively, had single stab wounds to the abdomen.

Zoe, the 4-year-old daughter, was wrapped in a blanket and found at the foot of the bed. She did not have visible signs of a stab wound.

The cause of death for the wife and three kids has yet to be established officially.

Family relatives called the Todt's family several times as they grew worried about the disappearance for days at the time of the Christmas holidays.

Anthony Todt's sister spoke to the police that the family had been sick for a couple of weeks with the flu and that her brother was the only one that could be reached.

Deputies said that they made several trips to Todt's home but lacked any reason to be suspicious. They only entered the home after they got a federal warrant on January 13th that they served to Todt.

The arrest warrant was in relation to Mr. Todt, directing an alleged Medicaid fraud from his physical therapy practice in Connecticut.

The sheriff said that while in custody, Todt confessed to murdering his wife, three kids, and the dog.

Anthony Todt is facing four counts of homicide and one count animal of cruelty.
