With four teams resting up on byes, the NFL’s Week 5 slate is trimmed to 14 games with four teams favored on the road and odds makers unsure what to make of the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans’ matchup on “Thursday Night Football.”

The Colts are hoping quarterback Andrew Luck can return after missing Week 4’s victory over Jacksonville with a shoulder injury, but with his status unknown there’s currently no betting line, which makes it difficult for office pool players. Luck has dominated the AFC South rival Texans with a 5-1 record and 14 touchdowns to only three interceptions in his career.

Meanwhile, the 1-3 Texans are reeling from a 48-21 blowout loss at the hands of undefeated Atlanta in Week 4.

Inevitably odds makers will reach a conclusion, and most of it will rest on whether or not Luck plays. Early reports indicate Luck has a partially separated shoulder, though he was throwing on Monday.

Keep all that in mind before handing in your final Week 5 office pool picks. The pool game is simple. Circle each team you believe will win, and tally up all of your correct answers. The player who picks the most games correctly wins Week 5.

In the event of a tie, e.g. two pool players have the same number of correct picks, the total combined score for the “Monday Night Football” matchup will serve as the tiebreaker.

This week, the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to face the San Diego Chargers, and however much each team scores those numbers will be added together. The player whose guess is closest to the tally wins.
