Lowe’s (LOW) is heating up Valentine’s Day with a special event for couples in its first-ever “Night of Lowemance” contest.

The promotion will offer a romantic paint night at a Lowe’s store on Feb. 14 from 8 to 10 p.m. local time for 50 lucky couples.

Lowe’s said the events will only take place at 10 stores in America’s most romantic cities, including Chicago; Denver; Fernandina Beach, Florida; Milwaukee, Nashville, Tennessee; New Orleans; Palm Beach, Florida; Providence, Rhode Island; Savannah, Georgia; and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Winning couples will start the evening with a toast to celebrate their relationship, followed by some lite bites and a curated menu of HGTV Home by Sherwin-William paint colors to begin the night’s activities.

Here’s couples, will be guided to a paint zone, where they will be able to “express their love on a blank canvas,” which they can later take home as a gift to display in their home.

To enter the Lowe’s giveaway, couples can visit Lowes.com/valentines and register by Feb. 7.

Lowe’s said it will notify winners before the event.

Not a winner of the Night of Lowemance? Those who do not win the event will still have the opportunity to register for a virtual at-home date night activity that Lowe’s said will be hosted by a special guest.

“We thought, how better to translate all of the great DIY energy we've seen for months into some really romantic DIY energy,” Marisa Thalberg, Lowe's executive vice president, chief brand and marketing officer, said in a statement. “In a year where traditional Valentine's Day options remain limited, we are ready to turn Lowe's into the ultimate date night for a few lucky couples… that they never knew they needed.”

Couples must live within the metro areas of the stores’ events to win and must follow the retailer’s social distancing and safety protocols to attend, Lowe’s said.

Shares of Lowe's were trading at $167.39 as of 10:01 a.m. EST, up 73 cents or 0.44%.
