  • The 25th film in the series is said to be 163 minutes long
  • The movie is scheduled the hit theaters in April

It seems like Daniel Craig’s last stint as James Bond will truly be an epic one.

According to a report, the theatre listing indicates that the upcoming movie in the James Bond franchise might turn out to be the longest Bond film ever. The 25th movie in the highly-successful series is said to be 163 minutes long (2 hours and 43 minutes), making it the longest film in the entire franchise.

The record is currently held by 2015's “Spectre” which was 148 minutes long.

If the report turns out to be true, Craig will be the only actor to star in the longest and the shortest Bond films ever. The shortest movie in the franchise is “Quantum Of Solace.” The movie was just 106 minutes long.

But the movie has already hit a roadblock even before its release. The makers of the upcoming movie in the “007” franchise, “No Time To Die,” have decided to scrap the plans to visit and promote the film in China due to the life-threatening coronavirus.

According to a report, more than 70,000 theaters have been shut down since the deadly virus started spreading over the country. This will be a big dent to Daniel Craig’s last outing as James Bond. A source close to the makers and the studio further revealed that it would be virtually impossible for the stars to get a clearance for the premiere or any publicity even if the cinema halls start to open in April.

As per earlier estimates, the 25th film in the Bond franchise could have become the highest-grossing movie of the series to date. But it seems it would be really difficult for the film to accumulate $1 billion or more at the global box office without getting released in China.

On the other hand, a new video from the movie was recently released online. The clip confirmed that there will be a five-year time jump in the film and that James Bond (Daniel Craig) will be coming out of retirement for his last mission.

The new video that has been posted on the YouTube channel of the franchise takes the fans behind-the-scenes of filming.

The cast of “No Time To Die” includes Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, as well as franchise newcomers Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, David Dencik, Billy Magnussen and Dali Benssalah.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 10.
