After portraying the character of singer Freddie Mercury in "Bohemian Rhapsody," Rami Malek is all set to enthrall audiences in the new James Bond movie, "No Time To Die," by donning the villain's hat for the project

The star is spilling out some details about his character in the movie and also revealed how Phoebe Waller-Bridge transformed the Bond villain through her exceptional writing.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Oscar-winning actor noted that he shares a close bond with Waller-Bridge as he was constantly in touch with her during filming. Malek shared that her writing had a huge "impact" on what he was doing.

"She had quite an i pace on what I was doing," Malek said.

Later in the discussion, the "Mr. Robot" star explained how the "Fleabag" creator helped him in stepping up his game by having long conversations on the phone about various scenes in the movie.

"I would have long phone conversations with her, giving her context as to what we were essentially looking for in the scenes, and she would turn things over incredibly quickly," Malek said.

The esteemed actor concluded by saying that the Emmy award-winning actress is not just good at writing funny scenes but she has a "knack" for writing dramatic scenes as well.

Malek will be playing the role of Safin in the movie. The character possesses a dangerous new technology in the film which could harm the world.

Malek is the second actor to praise Waller-Bridge for her writing capabilities. Last year, Daniel Craig, who portrays James Bond in the highly-successful franchise, had a lot to say about her skills and shared that she is one of the "best" English writers around.

Waller-Bridge won the Emmy award for writing the comedy series "Fleabag" and also won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy.

The cast of “No Time To Die” includes Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, as well as franchise newcomers Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, David Dencik, Billy Magnussen and Dali Benssalah.

The film is set to open in theaters on April 8, 2020.
