  • Several cryptocurrency mining rigs have been leaked online over the past few days
  • The latest is a video showing a rig submerged in mineral oil
  • Multiple images of Gigabyte Nvidia CMP 30HX card recently surfaced online

Over the past months, the industry has seen several insane cryptocurrency mining rigs. The most recent photos and a video just take all of it a notch higher by configuring multiple Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs with premium cooling.

The latest Nvidia mining GPU setup showcasing a series of GeForce RTX 3090 GPUs set up on premium custom-loop kits with mineral oil to cool them off was shared online by Twitter user I_Leak_VN and reported by Wccftech. The first is reportedly from cryptocurrency mining in Vietnam, with the video showing that the system is being cooled by mineral oil. The other setup shown in the picture showcases 10 Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 GPUs.

Based on the video, eight ASUS GeForce RTX GPUs are cooled using mineral oil. The entire PC is seemingly submerged in the cooling liquid, and apparently, the cards running under cryptocurrency operations function at a lower temperature with the help of this unique coolant. According to the site, mineral oil is better than standard liquid cooling since it ensures that all components are cooled at the same rate.

Meanwhile, the other system shown in the photos showcases a massive rig custom-made to house all graphics cards. Apparently, each Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 GPU uses a Bitspower water block, as seen on the logo and the backplate. Each graphics card houses a 280 mm radiator with three Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600W PSUs linked to it. Also, the system has an all-aluminum frame with riser cables attached to the MSI B360-F PRO mining motherboard. This enables the rig to run up to 18 GPUs at once.

A few days earlier, several images of a Gigabyte Nvidia CMP 30HX card alongside its rumored specs surfaced online courtesy of Videocardz. The photo shows the Gigabyte CMP 30HX based on the TU116 GPU, usually found on Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. Based on rumors, the said card will feature an Etheruem Hash Rate of 26 MH per second and might come with a durable cooler to keep the card cool and extend further than the PCB.
