Although Meghan Markle hasn’t addressed her sister’s recent Twitter rant that called the Duchess of Sussex out for ignoring their father, actress Olivia Munn is standing up for the former “Suits” star following the harsh comment.

Markle married Prince Harry at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May without her father, Thomas, or sibling, Samantha in attendance. While the actress has kept her distance from her family members, Munn has called out Samantha’s behavior.

During an interview at Comic-Con on Thursday, Munn revealed Shane Black, the director of her film, “Predator,” may be able to create some peace among the Markle family. “Shane Black used to date Samantha Markle, the really crazy sister,” the actress told Entertainment Tonight.

“That is amazing. Shane Black and Samantha Markle. I think we should reunite them,” the 38-year-old suggested.

Munn believed a reunion could stop Samantha from publicly sharing her family’s issues. “And maybe Samantha would calm down. She’s real angry. She says a lot of crazy stuff in the press.”

Munn’s comments come after Samantha slammed the Duchess of Sussex on Twitter for cutting off communication with their father after he spoke with the press. “Enough is enough. Act like a humanitarian, act like a woman. If our father dies, it’s on you Meg,” she tweeted from her private account.

Insiders previously told Us Weekly the royal family was “frustrated” Markle’s father spoke to the media. A source revealed his actions could damage their father-daughter relationship. “This blabbing needs to stop if he wants to maintain any relationship with Harry and Meghan,” the insider shared.

While Munn disagrees with the way the Duchess’ sister handled their family affairs, she didn’t necessarily agree with Markle’s new lifestyle as a member of the royal family. The actress revealed she has no interest in becoming royalty. “I don’t want to give up my career. I want my friends to marry princes,” she said.

“When you’re a royal, you have to give things up,” she added.

Shortly after Markle announced her engagement to Prince Harry, she revealed she would retire from acting to focus on her royal duties. The actress hasn’t spoken with her father since the day after the royal wedding.
